Life’s a process, never ending, full or steps along the way,
Sometimes we struggle, sometimes we don’t, it’s different every day.
Life has a way of teaching us, to get us to where we desire,
We stumble, we fall, get up, learn and grow; it’s how we advance higher.

Each day we learn a little bit, of who we are and why,
Enlightened by our purpose here, to fulfill before we die.
We touch the lives of others, who in return their lives are affected,
Embrace the new, appreciate the lessons, don’t leave it all rejected.

Shed light on the lives of those who touch you, and a blessing it will repay,
Sometimes it’s just a feeling, or profound knowledge may come your way.
Open your mind, along with your heart, and fill your spirit with light,
It’s amazing the distance your thoughts can take you, when you allow it to take flight.

Be thankful for all your known blessings, that grace your ever day,
Acknowledge that some are hidden, and be thankful anyway.
Remember a butterfly isn’t born with its wings, and crawls below before it flies,
If you feel trapped and alone, closed up in despair, be assured there’s a way to rise.
 
Find your cocoon, and set your mind free, because our wings are within us all.
If you must break down walls, and condemn it down first, understand it’s ok to fall.
But lift yourself up, and restructure your life, the way you want it to be,
Find those wings, and spread them wide, and take flight; fly high and free.
