Within our days upon this Earth, many touch our lives,
Some remain good friends, others husbands or wives.
A few we forget as time passes by, who sadly fade away,
It's up to us to make that choice, we always have a say.
We choose the ones to keep at heart, and those to pass us by,
But keep your eyes wide open, 'cause life will seem to fly.

So take a look at who’s in your life; thank them for being there,
Appreciate their presence, and everything they share.
We gain something valuable, from each and every one,
Some we need in hard times, others are just great fun.
Then there are those Forever-Friends, who’ll always have your back,
And with these people in your life, a rich life you will never lack.

It’s the people in your life, that enrich your every day,
Who watch you grow and stumble, who help you on your way.
They’ll never judge your downfalls, but pick you up if you fall,
Forever lend a helping hand, and never make you feel small.
And these Forever-Friends will last, in good times and in bad,
You’ll never lose their love and trust; they’re not a passing fad.
So take these words to heart, and realize what I am,
