I’ve learned that life is fluid; it’s hard to pull the breaks,
It’s full of love and tears and laughter, don’t forget heartaches.
It’s easy to say forever, when you love with all your heart,
Never anticipating changes, like when you’re torn apart.

You plan for now and always, and believe it will never change,
I thought if you wanted it bad enough, it wouldn’t rearrange.
But in spite of all the changes, you can’t put your life on hold,
You need to write the story, never give up and fold.

I truly believe that everything, has its reason to be,
So open your heart, ears and eyes, you’ll be surprised what u see.
You can’t live your life, by a restricted list,
You’ll wake up one day, and regret what you’ve missed.

‘Cause everyday is borrowed, you’re never granted tomorrow,
So fill your life with meaning, and overcome the sorrow.
Just trust in fate and destiny, but make sure you have a say,
Strive for the things you really want, and things may go your way.

But if life’s unexpected changes, leaves you badly burned,
Pick yourself up right away, and appreciate what you’ve learned.
If life has steered you in a different direction, it’s something you must face,
It’s fate’s way of telling you, you belong in a different place.
